Mark has pastored Hickory First Assembly of God since 2008. Through his leadership, he has seen the church more than double in size in these few shorts years. Through use of missional campuses and evangelistic efforts, hundreds of people have come to know the Lord every year. Mark and Janey's leadership style focuses on teamwork. Leaders are released and empowered to serve in the areas that Christ has equipped them to serve. Through church planting, serving in prisons, on the mission field at home and abroad Mark Dolphens is committed to taking the gospel to people by whatever means necessary. Mark is also an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God and is an Executive Presbyter in the North Carolina District.
